Resumen

"Two Crisis in the Passion According to Mark: Jesus in Gethsemane and in Golgotha (Mar 14:36 and 15:34)." Mark presents in his gospel many details that show Jesus in his real dimention of God-man. These details were basic for the theological conceptions that the Early Christian Church sustained regarding Jesus as the Lord of History. Climaxing these details are the crisis that Jesus confronted at Gethsemane and Calvary. · Mark presents with brevity the dimentions of Jesus' supreme anguish combined in two phrases pregnant of Christological meaning and theological significance: "Remove this cup from me," and "Why has thou forsaken me?" Mark stresses in a unique way the two dimentions of Jesus's nature, and in doing so, he shows us that He is our elder brother who left us through His sacrifice the power to call the eternal Father, our Abba. Yet, we should be reminded of the price it cost Him to provide us such a privilege.
