Abstract

The present study conducts an analysis of the missionary commitment of church members. With this objective, the different definitions that currently exist are compared. The importance of missionary commitment in our days is highlighted. Then, we proceed to identify some theories and dimensions of missionary commitment, in order to elaborate a context that allows us to see the relevance of missionary commitment for the church today. As a result of the analysis, we propose not only the importance of missionary commitment, but also its relevance for the IASD, by having a structure such as the Sabbath School that provides the conditions to strengthen and develop missionary commitment among church members.
