Abstract

Biblical church planting principles were of great importance in the New Testament, for example, the guidance and reliance on the Holy Spirit was essential for this purpose. If there is any clear principle in the book of Acts, it is that church planting is led by the Spirit. At the same time, it must be noticed that when a new church is planted, it is necessary to consider its strategic location for establishing new churches in the surrounding regions. The apostolic church of the New Testament looked for ways and places to establish new churches considering new local church leaders who gave vibrant support in the leadership, assessment, and doctrinal strengthening. A clear example of this is Jesus, the disciples and then apostle Paul. So, as it can be seen, church growth in the New Testament began with Jesus as the first missionary and continued with his disciples, whom he had formed. As the result, the apostolic church fulfilled the purpose of the given mission.
