Abstract

Beginning and consolidation of Adventism in Soritor (1960-1980). Adventism in Peru has experienced rapid growth across various regions, a phenomenon that has been widely documented. However, in the San Martin region, particularly in the city of Soritor, there are no records detailing the factors that led to the onset and establishment of Adventism in that area. For this reason, this article aims to describe the origins, growth, and expansion of the Adventist church in Soritor. This study is based on an analysis of available literature, as well as testimonies from brethren who witnessed this historical process. Additionally, accounts have been gathered from pioneers and descendants of eyewitnesses, who have preserved the memory of the events that shaped the history of this church.
